EMMY RHYMES PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO DEPUTY GOVERNOR OF KOGI STATE, UNVEILS PLANS FOR UPCOMING CONCERT
The deputy Governor of Kogi state Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo has emphasized the commitment of his principal Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo to supporting indigenous creatives.
He made this statement when Kogi born musician & rhymes exponent; Emmanuel Iko-Ojo Sani also known as Emmy Rhymes paid him a courtesy visit to formally inform the government of his upcoming concert scheduled to take place at the Federal University Lokoja auditorium in conjunction with the music department of the institution on the 9th of August 2025.
During the visit, Emmy Rhymes discussed the concert’s theme, lineup, and expected outcomes, highlighting the event’s potential to promote Kogi State’s rich Creative export.
The Deputy Governor assured Emmy Rhymes of the state’s support in ensuring the event’s success.
The concert tagged “LOKOJA EXPERIENCE”promises to be an unforgettable event that will feature Emmy Rhymes’ hit songs and special guest performances by various creatives.
Also on the entourage to the deputy Governor were Rotimi CHURCHY Olarenwaju & Baba Ojonugwa J.F.O who is the national treasurer of PMAN which is the umbrella union for all Nigerian musicians.
Emmy Rhymes’ team is working tirelessly to ensure the concert’s success, and the artist is thrilled to share his music with the people of Kogi State.
