Nigerian-born singer and songwriter, Nweke Samuel Chinonso, known by his stage name Chinoxx, is fast becoming a standout act in the Afro-R&B music scene. From Awka South in Anambra State, Chinoxx blends soulful storytelling with modern African sound to create music that is deeply relatable, emotional, and culturally rich.
Raised in a Christian home as the fourth of six children, Chinoxx discovered his love for music early while growing up in Lafia, Nassarawa State. At age 12, he began freestyling for fun, attracting neighborhood audiences who cheered on his creativity. Although his family initially discouraged his interest in music, he found renewed inspiration years later when Cubana Chief Priest ventured into the music industry, motivating him to return to his passion with full force.
A graduate of Federal Polytechnic, Oko with an OND and HND in Estate Management, Chinoxx is carving a niche with his unique Afro-R&B style. His music is inspired by everyday experiences and the complexities of life, often designed to enlighten and connect with listeners. His influences range from Fela, Chief Osadebe, 2Baba, Don Jazzy, Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Flavour and more.

Chinoxx’s upcoming EP features his lead single “Ojoro”, a thought-provoking track that explores the mystery of life and the idea that “the more you look, the less you see.” Known for writing songs with message, inspiration, and emotional connection, Chinoxx aims to positively impact and elevate the African music space.
Beyond his personal journey, Chinoxx is also committed to empowering young talents. He is the founder of Brainchild Music Group (BMG), a record label dedicated to discovering and developing the next generation of African stars.
