Olaniyi Olufemi, professionally known as SkyBills, is a multi-genre artist whose sound blurs the lines between R&B, Afrobeats, Afro-fusion, and hip-hop. Born in Kogi State and raised in Zaria, Kaduna, SkyBills grew up immersed in the northern Nigerian culture but also rooted indigenously from Yoruba. He pursued a degree in Law at the University of Ilorin and was officially called to the Nigerian Bar in 2025.

Despite his legal background, music has always been SkyBills’ true passion. “Before I even held a mic, I’d get goosebumps just listening to music,” he shares. “It made me want to recreate those emotions—I’ve always known it’s what I was meant to do.”

Drawing influence from global icons like Wizkid, Chris Brown, and Olamide, SkyBills developed a distinct style: melodic, soulful, and emotionally honest. His vocal-driven sound weaves heartfelt storytelling with rhythmic expression, often reflecting real-life experiences with a touch of creative fiction—as seen in his breakout song Undo, inspired by a complicated situation ship.

SkyBills’ mission as an artist is simple but profound: to connect. “I want people to relate with me, to feel what I’m feeling, to walk in my shoes, and to visualize my words while they’re listening.”

With a deep respect for African music, SkyBills sees Afrofusion as a supernatural art form. “Nothing is as original as what we do in Africa. Our sound is powerful and limitless.”
